There's no charge for AI on this page, because you bring your own. Prices, when we publish them, will say whether they include VAT.

Questions about pricing

Why no prices yet?

Because we'd be guessing. The service's real running costs come from the pilot, and prices follow from them. Every figure we've modelled is a hypothesis until then.

Who runs the AI, and who pays for it?

You do. We run no AI model over your content. You connect your own Claude, ChatGPT or other MCP client, under your own subscription and your own terms with that provider.

What happens if we leave?

Your notes are already on your computers as plain markdown. A vault removed from synoia stays a folder that Obsidian or any text editor opens.

Deleting your organisation's data from our service, with evidence that it's gone, is planned.

Where is it hosted?

One production service on AWS in London, behind Cloudflare. The pilot runs on it. Nightly backups are encrypted and kept for 35 days. None of this covers what your AI reads: that goes to your AI provider.

Can we run it ourselves?

Not in the pilot. A private instance, run by us for your organisation alone, is one of the options after it.

macOS comes first. Windows and Linux follow demand, so tell us if you need them.
