Where Confluence is the better choice
Enterprise governance out of the box, and Jira next door. If you work inside an Atlassian estate, Confluence is what IT already approves and what your colleagues already know.
Where synoia fits
For a small team, Confluence is a lot of set-up around content you don't hold as files. synoia keeps the content as markdown on your computers, restricts folders to the people who need them, and connects the AI you already use.

Can you switch?
There's no direct import from Confluence into synoia. Leaving synoia is simple: your notes are already files.

We use Confluence because a client does. Can we use both?
Yes. Keep client-facing pages where the client expects them. Your team's own knowledge, and the AI over it, can live in synoia.
